Community Arts Calendar — Lake City, FL & surrounding areas
Any local arts-related event — visual arts, crafts, performing arts, live music, concerts, kids & school arts events, fairs and festivals with an arts/crafts component, workshops and classes, exhibitions and openings, open mic nights, film and media arts, and community or volunteer arts events. If you're not sure whether your event fits, submit it and we'll help sort it out during review.
Most submissions are reviewed before they appear on the public calendar, usually within a day or two. Some trusted, frequent submitters are pre-approved so their events go live immediately. If your event is declined, you'll see the reason in your account and can fix and resubmit it.
Boosting is an optional way to give your event extra visibility — a highlighted border and a spot in the Featured Events carousel at the top of the calendar — for 30 days. It's done through a small donation, not a paid ad purchase.
Once you have an account and at least one event submitted, go to My Events and click "Boost" next to any of your listings. From there you can make a small donation to feature it for 30 days.
Boost donations go directly to the Art League of North Florida, Inc., the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates Gateway Art Gallery and is Columbia County's designated arts organization. Your donation supports the Gallery's arts programs, classes, and community events.
Beyond appearing on the public calendar, your event may also be included in our weekly email newsletter sent to local subscribers, and can be featured in our social media posts on Facebook and Instagram if boosted. It's a free way to reach more of the local arts community.
The sponsor logos shown on this site are current Gateway Art Gallery event sponsors — businesses, organizations, and individuals who sponsor Gallery events and programs directly. If your business would like to become a sponsor, contact us and we'll connect you with the Gallery's sponsorship program.
